Organizing a Panel on Heterogeneous Computing for Energy Efficiency- IGSC ’19

Dr. Amini, HPCC Lab director, organized a discussion panel on “Heterogeneous Computing for Energy Efficiency”, as part of the 10th International Green and Sustainable Computing Conference (IGSC ’19), on Oct. 22nd 2019 in Alexandria, VA.

The panelists were Drs. Sudeep Pasricha (Colorado State University), Emmanuel Jeannot (Univ. Bordeaux, France), and Joel Fuentes (Intel and the University of California, Irvine). The panelists, first presented their views on different aspects of heterogeneous computing systems and the way they can be helpful to the idea of green computing. The panel was followed by interesting conversations for around 1.5 hours.
